AZAMITE
NICKNAME: Ama
AGE: 1
GENDER: Filly
BREED: Thoroughbred
COLOR/COAT: Dark Bay
SIRED BY: Azamour
OUT OF: Twyla Tharp by Sadlers Wells
RACING: Yes
HISTORY: Azamite's existence is little-known, despite being coming from a line with some strong turf-running relations. She was bred in Europe and sold to the states soon after weaning where a small stable took her in. She was well cared for, but generally kept quiet until she was ready for sale as a yearling.
The filly drew some, although not a great deal, attention and was purchased for a fair price before being transported to her new farm.
PERSONALITY: Distant, cold and arrogant; Ama thinks of herself as something better than the rest. To her, though, this is not just an opinion but a fact. She honestly does believe that she is a cut above the rest and does not like to lower herself to the level of others. Despite this, she is not a domineering filly, nor violent - she is merely aloof.
This aloof young thoroughbred, however, does have a weakness. Running. She loves the track, loves to feel the course beneath her hooves as she moves across it and she loves to win. She is a highly competitive equine and always gives her best.
Although it is rare, on the occasion that Ama decides someone is at least close to her level she can form a strong bond. This isn't a likely occurrence, however, and should never be relied upon.
PLAY-BY: The Fugue
RP-SAMPLE:
The filly stared out of her stall, her expression showing signs of boredom as a colt made a scene nearby. Really, was all this fuss necessary? She had never understood these foolish displays, seeing them as a waste of energy and below her. Then again, in her opinion most things were below her. She rolled her eyes, audits slicking back across her skull before disappearing back into her stall. Life here was not going to be what she was used to. Where she was from, things were much quieter and she wasn't even sure what she was doing here.
It was not unlikely that once she found out that she was being trained to race Ama would cheer up if only a little. But even then the aloof filly was unlikely to be welcoming of her peers. They were unlikely to be on her level, in any way. She was superior, after all, something special. Or so she believed.
